	My Dearest Anna, I write to you with wonderful news. My eldest sister, Mary, is getting married, and I dearly wish that you might come and share in our happiness. She will be married in the month of May, when the gardens will be in full bloom, and I hope, my dear, that you feel as I do in this wondrous news. With Love, Charlotte

	Charlotte, It is my dreadful duty to inform you of the discontinued residence of your correspondence, Anna, at this address. Please direct your writing to your friend with my apologies and best wishes to your sister. Sincerely, James

	My Dearest Anna, Oh, you would never believe the time I’ve had trying to reach you. It has been most vexing. I sent a letter to you previously, to inform you of my sister’s wondrous engagement, and to invite you to come and share our joy this May (for, you know, the flowers will be in full bloom then!) however, your intended letter was most discourteously returned to me with the very notion that you no longer live in your own house! Only my sister’s joyous nuptials prevent me from serious discontentment at this annoying nuisance. Let not the joyous tidings of my sister’s upcoming marriage be stained by the news that someone has been replying most rudely and annoyingly to all three of the letters I had previously attempted to send you. How they were intercepted I know not, but I simply must prevail upon you to visit me, for my sister intends to be married in May with all of the flowers and if you are not there I shall sorely feel your absence.
